Physical activity is encouraged for individuals with Hemophilia to maintain joint health, muscle strength, and emotional well-being — with proper precautions.

Safe Sports

  • Swimming
  • Walking and hiking
  • Yoga and Tai Chi
  • Cycling (with helmet and pads)

Precautions

Avoid high-contact sports (e.g. rugby, boxing). Always consult a physiotherapist. Pre-treatment with factor therapy may be required for some activities.
